Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort
We travelled to Villa Campestri for our minimoon. The villa was gorgeous and quirky! We were lucky enough to get a room upgrade which was glorious! The room was extremely spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed, and perfect for a romantic stay! The restaurant on site was phenomenal, we were not expecting to eat there each night but after one night we were hooked! They switched up the menu each night which was a great bonus and the food was amazing!! The views, oh my goodness, the views. There are no words to explain how incredible they were! We also did a truffle hunt which was such a great way to see the surrounding area, Mattia arrived with his two little dogs and we walked around the area and undergrowth looking for truffles. Mattia is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and let us keep the truffles which was an extra treat!!

Stunning location, the property and the view. The furnishings and decor are kept in tasteful traditional Italian style to complement the beautiful manor and complex of the villa. The grounds are extensive and there are multiple areas with lounge chairs and tables to enjoy the outdoors and the gardens which are very well maintained. The property and apparently some neighboring properties and town maintain some walking paths one can take directly from the villa grounds. The staff is readily willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, and to ensure our stay was satisfactory. The cleaning staff was very thorough and daily so, very appreciated. Recommend to take the train ( 10 minutes drive) to Florence, although lovely, driving to Florence requires navigating the hills, small towns and traffic at times.

The property sits at the top of a hill with sweeping views in every direction of Olive and Fruit trees. The house is more than 800 years old and is breathtaking. The sisters who own the property are so welcoming and friendly, we truly enjoyed talking with them. The rooms are HUGE, the breakfast is out of this world good with every selection of food, coffee and tea you could imagine. Sitting on the patio in the morning was truly special. We were lucky enough to be there for the olive harvest, just fascinating. If you love nature and peace, this is the place to be. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer, it will recharge your soul.

This charming hotel completely exceeded our expectations. What truly sets it apart is the soul of the place. You can see the love and effort the owners, two wonderful sisters, pour into every detail. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, recommending hidden gems of Tuscany and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the most heartwarming things was meeting other guests who have been returning to this hotel for 15, even 30 years! Their love for the place speaks volumes about the experience. We felt so welcome and at home, and we can definitely see ourselves becoming regulars too. We will absolutely be back!

beautiful location, secluded not too far from Florence. amazing country side estate with lots of green. and a pool! the land ladies, mrs. gemma and her sister are absolutely wonderful. the breakfast is super cute, beautifully and interestingly served buffet. and on the first night we caught a food truck - such a fun experience! the room is quite comfortable, huge bed, with a mini bar and a nice bathroom. the shower cabin is quite unique! I've been to many hotels, for my previous congress work, but this one is really something special. I will definitely not forget it any time soon and sure hope to revisit even sooner.
